To post photos anonymously, PM me. You will need to copy/paste the entire thread body into your email - including all the image frames and numbering.

Respondents are able to give real feedback without being biased by a members standing in the community.

No text, I'll delete it.

No watermarks.

Posters need to strip exif data and use 'dropbox'. http://www.getdropbox.com/ The box is a number, there is no identifiable server.

It will be up to the photographer to 'out' him/herself when and if they feel its appropriate.

Each person who emails gets their own thread.

No guessing who is in the thread. Guessing 'jesus' on the first post could sway the outcome of the thread.

I will also post thread replies anonymously. Must be critiques - no one liners. Be sure to include the thread title.

i'm a bit lost and maybe didn't see a setup thread....

what's up with the doubleblind? is this the one where we'll send photos for c&c and no one will know who's they are... and we'll give "unbiased" thoughts and then do a reveal ?

is it safe to say then that logos will be stripped ?

.... is part of the posting feedback then at the bottom of your C&C a "best guess" of who's photo it is? or is none of this a game? is there a different thread for each "submission" and then a reveal at some point? at 30 posts? or something? or is the value in the feedback that only you (doublebind) and the author of said photo "know" who's it is.. and we'll all feel free to give "real" feedback?

maybe need to outline usage and rules !

+1 I vote for that.

Would have been a good idea to include the reason as per your original post.

not double-blinded, only single blinded - double would mean that the photographer didnt know which were his pics.

I think it's a GREAT idea! As high school photography teacher I have found that during critiques the friends stick up for the friends and won't be constructive in what they have to say. It's somewhat true here, not nearly as bad at the high school level but none the less it's here in a different form.

Great idea, looking forward to it. Some photographers post a lot here, there style is well known but everyone is emulating the next so it could get interesting.

OMG every post I make through doubleblind will be obvious as all of my comments will be about how dead sexy the photographer must be.

Sweet idea.

Of course, some photographers won't be able to do this. Like, say, Jeremy or Quan. Or maybe they'll totally change the way they write in order to do it!

Awesome. Evan and I had talked about that a few times.

maybe there's no writing? just the images and a general request for C&C.?

whens the first post? this could get exciting.

Location would definitely help give some clue.... for instance Spencer and I shoot in the southern arizona desert... you'll be able to tell that in some of our posts should we choose to use "doubleblind"

Suggestion: post a brief explanation of the rules at the top of each critique post.
