I know this topic has been beat to death but in the "search" there is always some qualifier that reduces the info I am looking for to make my selection. |

The NEC LCD3090WQXi is 30", Wide Color Gamut and has built in calibration hardware. You can pick one up from Provantage for about $2100. I've had mine about nine months and am very happy with it. |

My personal favorite is the Dell 3008WFP 30" LCD - it's an absolutely brilliant monitor! |

I'm with camey, only I have the NEC 26" version and have been very pleased with the monitor. |

If you think the NEC costs too much, I highly doubt you want to hear from the Eizo users... |

Let me elaborate a bit on my 2690. I had a Sony g520(highly regarded and respected) CRT previous to this. The NEC is every bit and more than that monitor and has exceeded all of my expectations. The Spectaview is absolutely painless and I really can't imagine, at this time, what else I could possibly want in a display....for any price. |

I have a 2690 WUXi2 with Spectraview and I could not be happier. As noted above the spectraview is awesome. Painless!! Just plug the puck in and place it on the target and click continue, a couple minutes later....done! |

Sounds like NEC is the way to go! Thanks for your opinions. But all "searching" sez Spectraview is no longer made. Correct? |

Ok I screwed up. I see it now. B&H is having a great sale on the NEC LCD 2690W2-BK-Spectravision. |
