If you take the url to the d3x and replace it with d700x

it links back to the D3X and not a page not found.

also works with a D400 i guess they log these entries to see what people are looking for.

It's just the way their website is setup i suppose.

You can replace the D3X.html with whatever-you-want.html and it links back to the D3X. This works with any of their camera product pages. The camera model is designated by the directory before the ____.html.

http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product/Digital-Camera/26134/D700X.html

The directory '25442' is what's important for the D3X page.
