I have taken a photo of this Arabian mare and used another photo of the door in the background to blend with as texture.
Yet, I feel something is wrong with it, but I can't point my finger at it.
What do you think?

White on white could be a problem. Try toning the background somewhat to make the horse standout more.

Then what do I know?

Beautiful horse! Try the bg in sepia, the mare will stand out more
