Donīt get hopes up! Great gear doesnīt produce great photos. I am not an experienced wide angel shooter. I love the perspective though. The 21 was just a bit to tight. The 18 is perfect in my eyes. |

I had the Zuiko 18/3.5, and sold for the Nikon 14-24G. My copy of the Zuiko was top notch, as is my copy of the Nikon. To get the best out of the Zuiko a well matched adapter can be required. I used a Kindai adapter that worked perfectly. I found the Nikon better at 18mm up to about f/5.6, but around there I prefer the Zuiko's output. The two lenses have a different look to them, with different strengths and weakneses. |

If you want a crazy front element, nothing beats the 24/shift I think. ;-) It's like an 18mm for a Medium-format image circle. (the design is actually pretty similar). |
