Lovely set but I do find them a wee soft, are these in the wild, the look in his eyes are of a sad captive one!

soft ? no. (Looks fine on my calibrated monitor)
Wild? yes.

Trust me, he wasn't sad, it's just that "moment" I captured .

Excellent set. I like the comp and the mood but agree that they are a wee soft on my monitor (sounds like I am referring to Chad's...(fill in the blank).

Whiskers appear sharp, eyes a wee soft.

Still like the shots.

Great series, if these are soft, I still like them :-)

Jk,
I think were are referring to the eyes. Still excellent shots though. Where were these taken? I live about 20-30 minutes from you.

The eyes tell a somewhat saddened story in both of these images, very moody feel. Second shot is sharp Nice lighting on these Kiran, works very well with the expressions.

Thanks guys,

Can someone pls edit the first one and add a sharper version of the pic ? I don't have my PP software on my work PC....
I kept the sharpness very low on it...the picture should take sharpening very well. Feel free to do any other edits and recommend it to me so I can use the knowledge in my future posts.

@Dan, these were taken in India last november. Forest is called Bandhavgarh. Good to know you are a fellow neighbor, good to be in sunny Cal
