I spent last week in Washington state and was able to do some hiking and camping in some of my favorite spots in ONP. The weather was pretty sporadic with lots of snow and ice but I was on location at every sunrise and sunset and a few times it paid off. These are some of my favorites from the trip. All comments and critiques will be very helpful and appreciated. I'll post a few more in a couple of days from the Puget Sound area. Thanks!!

Wow, quite a few beauties here! Do you know what kind of tracks those are? It looks like it was running. Great stuff!

AJ, I saw it run into the water and I believe it was an otter. It was great to see.

Wow, what a series. The second made me say OH!! Marvelous shot. I love the perspective. The seventh is stunning. Can't wait to see more.

I must say, it looks like your trip came out pretty darned productive. Nice use of colors in the last few. Which beaches were you on?

You sure had some great light! So many good ones, it's tough to choose/comment more specifically.. but you did a great job on the shutter speeds with these. I think 4 and 6 are starting to stand out for me, for the drama and depth.

Pure magic. color me jealous of these shots. I'm about 100 miles from Ruby, and didn't even consider going out there. I guess I'm an idiot. Fine stuff, every image.

This is an excellent series; a bit too big for my taste - I honestly think you'd get more specific feedback if you posted only 3, 4 pictures per thread. But that's just me.

I like #4-6 the most, but as I said, they're all great.

#7 is great, just like a fairytale forest. We don't get much of that round here

Hey Daniel.

This is an absolutely riveting series; I enjoyed each and every one, including the forest walk, so different from the others. What I like is the care you have taken with the foregrounds in the compositions - particularly in the use of the colourful stones, as in no 6, which is outstanding. The movement of the water also contributes mush to many of the photos. You must have had a ball taking these in the wonderful, if slightly wild conditions. Very well done, indeed.

Very nice indeed Daniel - what a selection of beauties
#5 is my favourite here. The strong colours and water textures really catch my eye.
Well done.
David
