Just want to share with the FM gang. As part of the year-end tax strategy, we decided to invest in a print ad in Inside Weddings mag.

Check it our on the blog: http://www.aperturaphoto.com/blog/

Will this bring new business our way? We don't know yet and remain skeptical until we see results. But we're hoping it will increase brand awareness among brides and coordinators who are part of the IW demographics.

Any thoughts or input? Have you done similar things? How is it working for you?

Ray, I really like how you guys went with a double page spread. To me, that's really impressive & bold & awesome. I love the black and white contrast with the Apertura red. The R and E at the edge of the pages seal the deal for me. This will def increase brand awareness.

cool. You were smart to make it big. Small ads just get lost in the clutter.

I like it Ray. One suggestion... Maybe for your next ad, I would show the same scene that you both shot from two different perspectives. It would go with your tagline as well. I think that would be money in the bank.

Looks nice. I agree with Tony's comment as well... infact, I was expecting the other view from the little girls perspective. Regardless, congrats on a great ad.

Agree w/ Tony about the 2nd perspective. Beautiful photography. Hope you get some bang for you buck.

I usually feel the need to swear when describing something I like as much as this due to my limited vocabulary, but this is against forum rules.
VERY nice work.

Ray, pretty slick. It definitely screams high-end.

I can't disagree with anything said, but what I'd like to see next is an in depth ROI study to see the payback!! Great work, by the way.

Thank you, everyone. We chose BIG because it stands out more. Of course, it also costs a LOT more. We also shoot separately and don't want to limit ourselves to one scene from the same wedding.
