Excellent series, Phil! 7 and 8 are my picks, compositions are outstanding and the pastels just set everything off IMO. 7 should be printed large and framed.

Lovely series Phil!nš 3 and 4 are excellent composed but to me the black dragonfly(7) is the winner.

Just wondering in these types of shots I assume you are also using extension tubes as well as your macro lens? How close are you to the insect?
