Wonderful images and outstanding PS skill. Kudos to you & your family...

One question: What do you do with all the images in your collections to share with your daughters as they get older? Prints? Albums? Just curious...

wow, I can't believe this thread is still alive

radioblurs, I'm not sure where all the hits are coming in from, but they are definitely from external sites. I'm curious to know, since someone mentioned stumbleupon.com/

thepiecesfit, lighting setups can be found on my flickr page here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwlphotography/

Kaninfisk, I'm sorry you feel this way about my images.

fdigiorgio, Currently I am posting them to my personal blog as a way to share them with friends and family, primarily for my mom who can't always be around the kids due to health issues. I plan on making an album sometime in the near future.

Thanks again all for the kind words.

Cheers,

Jason

Inspiring, creative, and beautiful. Excellent combination of photoshop, flash, composition, and lovely kids

Late comer to the thread, like the photoshop work and clever titles. Obviously spent lots of time on lighting and such. Creative in a way that I am not (never put 2 and 2 together for shots like "downpour")

Only question is how did you get your kids to cooperate? Are they aware of the photograph's end result? I have a 1 year old and twins on the way, so this would be valuable info for me in the near future

Wow. That was just... Horrible. I don't think there was a single picture I liked. There was something wrong with every last one of those. Composition, theme, editing - all bad. And what is wrong with your kid's faces in the milk one? You definitely chose the wrong part to photoshop. Photography is not just about taking some picture and editing the hell out of it. You get a GOOD idea, take a GOOD picture and the do some GOOD photoshop work so it looks more or less realistic. Maybe nobody told you this. Now you know, so please do something about this. I'll be in the bathroom vomiting and washing my eyes.
