Some really fine shots here Garen. Your first KF is awesome, a real beauty of a shot. Peregrine #6 is very sweet and the griebe makes me wonder what the heck kind of signal is that! Man, when ANT is around all sorts of strange things happen Good work on the fliers, that can't be easy for sure.

Garen,

You're killing me with that 50d+600 combo - Man! Ant said you guys had some good shooting out there but I thought he was embellishing a little bit. I guess he was telling the truth after all

Congrats on the Loggerhead Shrike shot - haven't seen one of those for a couple of years and the KF shots are excellent. What's up with that funny duck

Ken

Thanks Will, I thought I had cool pictures until I saw your last thread Wow, back to school again for me.

Great stuff my friend. I enjoyed Lunch but hated the aftermath

I guess I was right on the Loggerhead Shrike I.D. You were off shooting that while
I was trying to get closer to the Reddish with little success I might add ughhhhh

Great job on the KFer. I'm figuring that one was on our way out the back side of the pond just before the Avocet in low level evening light.......... I with I could have tracked the PF in flight >> But my arms just couldn't keep up with him hand holding the 600............... Now what happened to my tripod ...... hmmmmmmmmm

Great set my friend and it was a blast being there for some of these.

Look forward to next time

Ant

Thanks Anthony, it sure was fun and sorry about the lunch looking forward for our next outing.

Garen,

Impressive stuffs! I especially like KF and Peregrine Falcon. Were you within
30 ft. from them?

Hide

Thanks Hide, I was probably more than 50 feet away, on Falcon IF shot I was at least 150 feet away.

That #6 is a killer too! specially considering being full-frame! that would make a nice print
Great job again Garen

P.S. No one took a pic of AntMan I guess no one wanted to waste the shutter

Thanks a lot Nello, I'm glad you liked it.

Wonderful series with such a wide variety of birds, Garen! My favorites are numbers 5 & 6, the Coopers Hawk and the Peregrine Falcon. The number 11 Golden Hour shot is another beauty. What species is it?

Hi Garen - a very big and nice collection.
I've enjoyed them all. My favourite - if I'm to pick only one - is either 2 or 11
