Garen,
Great series, my vote is for #3. It seems that there is something in the water at BC
causing the Grebes to point skyward

Hi Garen,
These pictures make me regret not going to BC after we left SJWS that day.

Super series. Highlights for me would be numbers 1 and 3. Really like the detail on the Kingfisher. The Loggerhead Shrike is so cute, the mask looks like Zorro. I haven't seen them in California.

Garen,

You're killing me with that 50d+600 combo - Man! Ant said you guys had some good shooting out there but I thought he was embellishing a little bit. I guess he was telling the truth after all

Congrats on the Loggerhead Shrike shot - haven't seen one of those for a couple of years and the KF shots are excellent. What's up with that funny duck

Geez Garen, you are doing the 50 justice!!

What a variety, wow. All very well done, well 9 the focus is on the shoulder but that's a nit.

Howdie Garen

Great stuff my friend. I enjoyed Lunch but hated the aftermath

I guess I was right on the Loggerhead Shrike I.D. You were off shooting that while
I was trying to get closer to the Reddish with little success I might add ughhhhh

Great job on the KFer. I'm figuring that one was on our way out the back side of the pond just before the Avocet in low level evening light.......... I with I could have tracked the PF in flight >> But my arms just couldn't keep up with him hand holding the 600............... Now what happened to my tripod ...... hmmmmmmmmm

Great set my friend and it was a blast being there for some of these.

Look forward to next time

Ant

That #6 is a killer too! specially considering being full-frame! that would make a nice print
Great job again Garen

P.S. No one took a pic of AntMan I guess no one wanted to waste the shutter
