Just finished up the last wedding for the year. We shot a wonderful couple here in Toronto. Thanks for looking.

20 is awesome, and your vintage pp-ing is well-employed. I always love the emotion your pictures bring out.

beautiful images, but just a tiny observation and nothing against your photo's... but they don't appear to be "in love" in any of these pics... He looks happy, their friends look happy, but she appears to be forcing a smile, or looking disinterested in every shot....

Your group shots are great -- that's the style I strive for with mine. I'd be interested in knowing your lighting setup. I can see the one light, but it doesn't look like you have a modifier on it. Or you do, and you set it really far away from the subjects. Very classy and elegant. I'm having a hard time picking out favorities. I like your PP as well -- it's not a style I would use -- maybe that's why I admire it.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. We were pretty happy about this wedding.

@Josh Evilsizor: In retrospect looking at these images I can see what you're saying. I think she was just one of those bride's who was very nervous on her wedding day. We do have lots of more candid images where she is laughing and smiling genuinely. With respect to romance, when I first met up with them for their engagement session earlier this year they told me they were looking for fun images and good times,

@Deb Brundage: We just used one light, I believe we used a reflective umbrella and tried to get that natural vignette look by placing the flash sort of far. The trade off is because the light is further the shadows get harsher. I'd like to retry this shot one day and aim for softer shadows.

@MarianneDoidge: We started the morning in Mississauga, the church was midtown Toronto, and the reception was in Kleinburg, Copper Creek Golf Club.

I love your processing and conversions... the first one is classic! The dance shots are very romantic - love the over all look of these. Great compositions, concepts, and execution.

We just used a flash on a light stand placed on the balcony above. It was triggered with PocketWizards.
