I agree, because it is such a good lens, it is unlikely that it will be upgraded. |

The 35L is probably scheduled for an upgrade next year. Not a rumour, just a hunch....based on design/fabrication/application homology with the 24L. |

Lens is good but not on any bodies I own so I sold it. Especially it was not as good on 1D mk III, microadjustmenst and Canon calibration didn’t help. |

They did upgrade the 85L and most people were totally thrilled with it at the time... and since the 85L II and 50L both were designed to improve bokeh, maybe Canon will address the less than stellar 35L's bokeh... |
