Does anyone have any experience with the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 with BIM? I was looking into getting a used one for $300 CAD. I have heard problems with both softness and auto-focus issues with the motor. I will be using it with my D40. |

Might want to ask over in the Nikon forum, there'll be more users over there. Can't say I've tried the BIM version myself. |
