Nektario K is pretty much right I think, but I do think it is a window light. The set suggests there are a lot of eaves, so I have to belive there might be a 2x3 window at knee height, maybe a bit higher. For all we know, there is a white house, three feet from the house he's shooting in that is reflectong the light through a small window. Great observation. |

It's definately just a high shutter speed and a sky light. In the video the skylight is blown out, while the video camera properly exposes for the ambient in the washroom from bulbs and the like. Has the video camera been exposed for the level of light coming from the skylight; it would look much like the photo did. Nothing too special, just spectacular lighting and talent. There's a reason this guy has so many awards. |
