Having just processed a batch of pictures in Lightroom last night, the first set since upgraded to 2.2. I noticed something that I swear didn't happen before.

While adjusting the Tone sliders (exp, recovery, fill, blacks) I saw that the color balance would change where it didn't used to. It seems like the white balance is changing or colors are hue changing more than they ever did. I'm used to getting deeper colors (and more reds) when pushing in blacks, but I never saw the recovery slider change color tone so much as it does now. I routinely over-expose slightly and pull-back highlights with recovery - but now that appears to really shift the magenta channel - or something. I don't remember ever seeing that before.

I just did one in 2.2 and didn't notice anything... Hmmm.

Compare the RGB values of the same file processed with both 2.0 and 2.2 .. that should answer your question.

I've just downloaded 2.2 but have not tried it yet.

Are you using the same profile now that they have issued non-beta versions?

Hmm. It could be the profiles. I need to get off my butt and shoot my color checker chart and build a profile for each camera - methinks now would be a good time to do that.

Did it in 2.1. In fact, it described this very thing in the online tutorial.
