I've just bought leica 180/28 and AF Confirmation Adapter coded for 180mm.
The lens works perfectly, but I'm not getting any exif info or the beep from AF.
Do I have a bad chip or am I missing something here?

Make sure the alignment is good. Maybe place the adapter on the camera without lens and see if the camera pins line up with the chip pads.

It seems it's lined up, but no beep....
I've received 3 other adapters from "big_is" on eBay, and they all work perfectly except this one...

Maybe just a bad one. Big_is is pretty good on getting bad adapter replaced.

I just e-mailed him about this.
Meanwhile, here is my test shot from the Leica 180/2.8
I had Apo Telyt 180/3.4 before.
For close-up shots, I think this 180/2.8 is better.
