how do you import a Tif into Painter X? When I try to open or import a photo, I get a message saying, TIFF File Has An Unsupported Number of Bits Per Sample.
The photo I am trying to import is 1479 pixes x 2177 pixes. resolution is 300, and I changed it from 16 bits to 8 bits, but that makes no difference.
Can anyone shed some light on this - please?
Thanks,
Bill

You are working with a 16 bit file. Take it back into PS and convert it to 8-bit mode. You will then be able to open the file in Painter. Painter does not support 16-bit files of any kind.
