Sorry but what makes that camera and lens worth that much money to anybody? A Nikon? I mean, Leicas have gotten that cult status for various reasons, but Nikons are just so - ordinary. It is a beautiful camera, but $52 000....?

Yes, and it only has an APS sized "sensor" ( 18 x 24mm ) How much would the Full Frame version cost?

Nikon RF's are at least as collectible as Leica kit, there's a reason most S-series RF's are worth more than M's of similar vintage and condition. And this one is extremely rare (as are all the non-24x36mm Nikon's).

Remember most of the Collector insanity is in Japan, so the usual bias against Japanese products from collectors doesn't really exist.
