Still interesting to me that Pet Photography is in the People forum.

Anyway, gotcha maybe? You thought it was a babe or maybe Halle Berry? (That is who she is named after.)

What do you think? Crop a little off the top? Any other C&C is sincerely appreciated.

She is pretty.

My Simple Suggestion: Remove the collar.

Nice looking dog. My suggestion is put three steers in front of her and make it an action shot

She's pretty for sure. I might crop some off the bottom to put the subject more toward the bottom third and to slightly enlarge her. The top is a good backdrop for the shot. She's a beauty definitely ... the pup and the picture.

I'd say crop it a little all around and a little more off the bottom and left side. More dog, less scenery. I agree with Steady about the collar, too. For an action shot, she might look better herding sheep than cattle. Maybe jumping through a tire at an agility trial.

1. gorgeous little Aussie......happy as usual when outdoors.

2. great light and pose.

3. just about perfect on the depth of field - colors of grass and background really help her stand out in the photo.

4. i'll jump in with the other on cropping in just a little and PS'ng out the curved part of the collar.

I personally would have been super happy to grab this photo. good work!

Steady and everybody else,

Thank you for your compliments and suggestions.

To kbradbeary and DixPix: She doesn't herd cattle or sheep but she does bring in my horses.

I like the shot but would have used more of the frame.
