the crowd roared and I'm just responding with some changes to produce a darker image, with some over sharpening.
experimenting is the name of the game! hope you enjoy, or at least don't get sick!

The last one I saw looked great, but I think this rework is improved over the previous. Keep it up Tom.

I do look back at some of my images and always find that I can improve on them.
The best way would be waiting a couple of days before posting, but I can never do that.

I like the rework, but will qualify that by stating I tend to like very sharp texture, too, just below the point of pixelation (is that the correct term?).
Kind of funny as well that my first impression again was how clean this place looked. You responded that there was plenty of dust!

T-bone - glad you see an improvement; I, too, like sharp images.
dust? well I can't explain that. they certainly do not clean the location. maybe it is the wind through the Golden Gate

Both look great, they convey different feelings. I prefer the second one.

marcelo - me too! I like the statement by Lazlo - don't be in a rush is the message; things get better with age
