Try posting this in the Canon forum for more responses. I'd say take the 50, as IS can't give you light where there is none, and you'll probably want higher shutter speeds to stop people's motion. Plus the 50 is a lot smaller and lighter than the 24-105. |

Try to keep ISO down to avoid noise...the 50 f1.8 should be ideal for this shoot. |
