I just got my cyber syncs today, and I am having a problem firing them. I am using a 1D MkII and I have tried it on both my 550Ex and 580Ex speedlites and with my 20d. I also purchased the universal shoe adapter that Paul Buff sells to use with this setup. Everything is plugged in the way it should be and I when I push the shutter button the red light on the trans. indicates that it is firing, but I am getting nothing to the receiver. I know I am missing something here, but I don't know what it is. I am kind of new to the wireless stuff and any help would be appreciated. Thank you, David Herren

does the test button on the reciever work?

yeah it works. I also got an email from PCB today and they told me that the universal shoe I was using from them is wrong for the application...they directed me to a site where I could get the shoe I needed. So I am looking forward to getting these up and running.
