I do love shots of old warbirds. The shot looks a bit HDR. I have been experimenting trying to get a look like this. Great tones and contrast control.

Yes, HDR...but not over the top. I thought this one looked best a little subdued.

love to see the 'old' planes. but maybe a little more midtone contrast would be fitting for this plane.?./

Beautiful shot, one of the last Mohawks if I am correct. The processing is quite effective, not too far gone, just a hint of menace and a slightly apocalyptic atmosphere here.

I agree... might add a little 'pop' to the plane and overall image. Fantastic impression left when combined with a little bit of reflection on the history this plane endured.
