(George Washington Bridge)

Just fooling around a bit.
Thoughts?
Anyone want to play with the original and see what you can come up with?

Seriously overexposed Scott. That's usually great for a mix.
I'll crop also the bottom of your composition slightly, because...

So lets see:

WOW!
Did Da Vinci really sketch out the plans for this bridge?
Love it!

I layered a darker texture and adjusted the light. Its good to have an overxposed
image when merging a darker like texture. I also cropped the bottom of your image
a tad because I though that the fencing at the end was giving it a certain off kilt
look. That's all

You keep a number of textures on file?

Kaden, Scott, AuntiPode,

Thanks for the compliments - Scott did the work and gave us the opportunity to play

I was surprised at how much was available to extract from the jpeg and I would have liked for the second version to be larger but the crop & align to vertical/rotation did not allow any room.

The second is my preference per my predisposition toward images with an acute perspective and vanishing points - believe I mentioned that in a comment in Kaden's "Heavenly" thread..

Anyway, it was fun

regards,

Bob

I like the variations as well. Interesting experiment. Scott
