Fine set of images. All three shrike shots are super but #4 steal the show for me. Excellent work Thomas.

Tom, I was out of town and missed this series

Digging the shrikes! Well done

Falcon and eagle are very nicely done. I don't know where you found the falcon but congrats on getting that close!

Too funny, a scoter!! I just shot some of these in the gray and fog on Friday morning and just started to cull them. My first thought was I may have to push them a bit You beat me to it.

Love the gbh.

Great set Tom.

Tom..........I guess I am seeing things here differently...........

#1 details on the Shrike are to the tee, excellent from tip to toe and wonderful texture..........BG appears a bit noisy to me
#2 great shot, unique clean perch, not sure about possibly too much room on top?
#3 image appears at a loss of detail due to NR perhaps or a processing technique applied perhaps?
#4 neat intimidating look, nice image Tom
#5,6 I much prefer 6 as the details and comp is much more pleasing
#7 neat headshot but does not seem as sharp as I would expect?
#8 great image, sharp and just a cool look
#9 a neat pose but dark feathers just seem off to me, softish again like NR
#10 may have pushed too hard, yes the black is pretty noisy on my monitor
#11, 12 another nice B52 fly by and GB looks good against that deep red BG

Tom, I came back to this post several times and on the two monitors I use, work and home and saw the same things, as you know I comment as I see them for the value of my opinion is always up to you

Very nice set, Tom. The first two shots of the shrike are really nice. The third shot looks like an extreme crop and detail are lost. Congrats on the falcon shot. Together with the Eagle shots is very well captured. Excellent job with the GBH.

Hi Thomas,

Nice shooting. I enjoyed them all, but favorites are: #1, 3, 11 and 12. Love the fall color in the BG on the last one. Nice!
