Is it me, or did the price of the 85L II at Adorama and B&H just shed about $65 dollars? |

Either way, it's far more than the ~$1,580 it was a year ago. |

The $1,699 24L Mk II had better be significantly better than the 24L! |

The Mark I 24L has caught my eye and I've researched shots taken with it to death but I'm highly intrigued by the Mark II version. Mainly the monstrous price of entry. Hopefully it has the same magical characteristics as the 85L. |

Look at the bright side. Once the 24L II reaches stores 24L I will be cheaper so you have a choice of decade-worth of proven design at a lower cost or the latest and greatest from Canon |

I paid close to 1800 for mine. A lot for a lens that is rarely used. But I will for a headshot session tomorrow... |
