I love Bee eaters. Guess I'll have to try for a zoo to see one in real life for now....

Sorry about the wires, Harsha, Thx for stopping by !
Actually, these birds were on the terrace of my apartment in India ( I was there recently). Those wires are cable TV wires,sadly. I looked up from my balcony, one fine morning, and saw bee-eaters...rushed upstairs and snapped away :-).

Hi Kirry,

I would not get too caught up with the wires (no pun intended). Cables have become a part of our birds natural habitat and are as valid as a twig, branch or vine. I particularly like no 2
