I spent last week in the Shenandoah Valley of VA. It was a very early cold spell. My 1Ds II could not handle the cold. Luckily my converted 20D kept right on going. These are from the McCormick Farm. -Tom

Howdy Tom,

Really neat images, great tones, and very good compositions.

Looked like a wonderful outing.

Kindest Regards,

Craig

Thanks Craig. It was a nice area to photograph.

I'm a little torn between leaving the IRs in the red channel or converting to the blue channel. Here's one I switched. It seems like a tug of war between drama and prettiness. I guess they both work okay.

I tried for some historical points of interest. I hope to be able to post a couple of those later. Thanks for the comments. -regards, Tom

The 4th shot with the icicles is an amazing photo. I agree with your dilemma between drama and prettiness

Cheers Ray
