went to El Dorado late this afternoon. saw a few redtail hawk, a kestrel, and a few other odds n ends. and then I came across this GBH that was paying very close attention to the ground..

Gotta get me one of those varmit hunting birds That would be nice around the pool in the summer but tough on my pond Looks like by all the pushed up dirt that there are plenty more meals to be found, cool shots!

thanks. i really need to figure out a way to invite that GBH to my house. I have a gopher in my yard that's tearing up the soil, ate 2 agaves, almost killed a young tree i planted, and dug up 2 pepper bushes..
