went to El Dorado late this afternoon. saw a few redtail hawk, a kestrel, and a few other odds n ends. and then I came across this GBH that was paying very close attention to the ground..



I'll post up some more "sequence" shots (much) later tonight. gotta get ready to go out now..

Nice series of the GBH versus the gopher

thanks. i really need to figure out a way to invite that GBH to my house. I have a gopher in my yard that's tearing up the soil, ate 2 agaves, almost killed a young tree i planted, and dug up 2 pepper bushes..
