I've been spending some really long hours at work, and it's putting me in a really "dark mood". So here are some shots that reflect my current state of mind.
#1 On the monitor at work, the golden accent on the water doesn't seem as bold and the darkness of the water doesn't seem as dark, but .........

#6 The smoke from the recent wildfires here in SoCal lends itself to a nice sunset this past Sunday.

Hi Ken,

It is dark but beautiful I'm looking forward for Sunday outing and I'm sure it will brighten up your mood. Excellent captures.

Hi Ken,

sorry you're in a dark mood - - even though I like the result very much. Personally I can relate.... I get debilitated just looking around me. The minute I start hosing anything off at home, the smell of soot, ashes & fire is everywhere. I can't get away from all the soot, ashes & smoke.... Cleanup job is taking forever, cause I only have so much strength to deal with it each day.... I need to get out & away & get some fresh air. I need to get out to do some photography, but I get tired just thinking of all I need to do.

Lovely series - - sorry for being such a "downer" - - but I'm worn to the bone right now...

Lil - - taking a break from her cleanup job after the firestorms - - so no picks... sorry

Hi Ken,
Hopefully Sunday and our ritual outing will lift the cloud...
I know it's one of my "fun" days to take my mind off the economy, employment, and every other thing.
Nice captures from the "Dark Side"

I'm sure you have your hands full with the clean up. Take care of business first, then get back to the joys of life (photography) when you can.

Tim -
The weather is supposed to be good on Sunday, so maybe that'll help me to dispell some of the gloom.
