What do you use for file recovery? I have a mac and an external hard drive. I was tired one night and not thinking about it and tried sticking Windows on it, didn't work out so well and lost thousands of photos. Suggestions please?

Word to the wise- You decided to by a Mac for a reason. Unless you ABSOLUTELY need it, say good bye to Windows.

I had decided I wanted to do some gaming in my free time which requires Windows. Ended up selling my game and getting the Mac version, much wiser decision.

Not being wise after the event (well I am - but not in a smart ass way ) but you should have a secure backup to prevent this sort of error being an issue.
