I don't recall ever hearing about a Sakar Falcon let along seeing a shot of one. All photos quite impressive and thanks for the education

nice shots Shane... too bad the birds tail feathers are such a mess., Goran is more interested in hunting then maintainence!

With the speed at which these birds hit their pray, I'm surprised it still has feathers.

Very nice set. Nice action on the flight shots and great detail on the other two.

Thanks Jay. I think I'm with you....I really like the last shot, glad I laid down on the ground to get that perspective.

Shots 1 & 2 took a lot of work, thankfully I shoot in RAW for everything. I forgot to set the camera to spot metering and forgot to dial in some exposure comp for the sky. The bird was almost gone, glad I was able to get it back this far....

One more for good measure.
