Just one plant, and I felt that way.

Truly a fine shot, Jeffrey. There is a delineation of balance here that simply makes me FEEL good. Nice colors, nice compo, nice everything.

Magnificent.

I agree with Larry, there's nothing to dislike and everything to like in this image.
The vibrance of the green color, the composition holding layers at different depths and shadows with subtlety. This fern leaf reminds me of a bird's feather, not only because of its pinnate organization, but also because of the delicate way in which it was photographed. Feathery treatment, indeed.

PS - I'd be also interested in knowing whether this was shot outside/inside in ambient/artificial light.

This is quite perfect. I don't know what else to say, except "ditto" of all the other great comments.

This is really gorgeous. The plant almost looks rubbery. The greens are really nice.

Hey Jeffrey,

Cool shot! Really well done, and I will have to just echo Santiago's comments on this.

Thanks, everyone. This was natural light outdoors, on a somewhat overcast day, just perfect conditions for this shoot. I waited a while for the breeze to break, and spent that time perfecting the composition. The prints of this are impressive.
