I got this from the rehabber in Pa. who did Y-18s rehab.
Lou

After her release Nov. 7 we have heard she's been sighted hunting and flying along the Brokenstraw River and caused some traffic jams with people gawking. We're just thrilled to hear that she's doing well out on her own again. She was also the cover story on the Pennsylvania Magazine this month. I believe we'll be getting a copy sent to Pete. And I just heard today that they would like to do a follow up story with pics of her release. We've never had this much attention for any animal we've worked with, but she's a special bird, in part due to your banding.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yeah Dave it did make me feel good as they did not place a radio transmiter on her before the release just in case. They say Female and I thought Y-18 to be a mal from the nest photos so I guess they did the math and she is a she.
Thanks
Lou
