I dont get to shoot much anymore, and dont really have a good place to shoot birds in flight either, but that didn't stop me from getting out and searching Friday morning for something to shoot.

I dont post much here, or anywhere for that matter, but I wanted to contribute something, Here's to getting back in it.

Thanks for looking, and sorry it couldnt be something more.

Tree rats are always a crowd pleaser and these are no exception

Excellent exposure on the crow, great color in that one as well.

These look nice. Mr. Zoom is the forum's exposure checker, so if he says the crow is spot-on then you know you've done well. I hope you get a chance to get back out and shoot more now.

Thanks Mark for your encouragment, It's been a while for me. Since I've changed jobs, shoogting has came to a near hault.

I do have a question though. I do I post images at full size? these are smaller than the original, and they also look softer than the original.

am I doing something wrong while embeding them?

Very nice pics. Like the first one, lovely tail and pose.
When I post mine I size the longest size to 800 pixels in PS.

Great exposure on the crow shot - you kept all the black detail and the background looks right. Nice work

Your off to a good start getting back into things! We all start somewhere, shooting and posting will get you into the swing of things. I really like the pose and setting in the first shot. Keep at it!

Nice series, it is always challenging to get a well exposed crow.

good news for me in that I found Jordan Lake has five nesting pairs of Bald Eagles. I'll have to make a trip one day to see if I can catch them out and hunting for fish. Now just to make the time to go down since its about a couple hours from me.
