I've posted a couple other shots from this shoot over on the Landscape forum, so you might be getting tired of these, but I thought I'd post this one over here. Shot with the good old D300 and 10-20 in Boiler Bay, OR. |

the foreground rock just plain looks weird to me, either it is an HDR gone wild or an overuse of fill flash. IMO it should be backed way off , nice choice of shutter speed here tho |

Thanks for the feedback, this is a one shot photo, and I didnt use any flash. I did use a couple grads at different heights to make the shot though. I'll take another look. |

I am in agreement with John, the rock in the foreground does not look natural. I am sure you used a graduated neutral density filter for the sky but when I do shots like this, I like to underexpose slightly the foreground to make it more natural. |
