Well as the temperature drops daily here in VA, I have to resort to actually walking on land to take pics! What a novel concept. I might need to road trip to see Ant or Tim to keep my yak legs fresh.

Nice assortment J! Great job on the red bellied, nice detail, focus on the eye. Chickadee is well done, maybe crop some off of the right? Great background on that, goes quite well with the bird. The butter butt gave you a run for your money, good job on getting it in focus with all the stuff around it. Your doing quite well on focusing on the faces Great set.

Wanna yak, sure come on up!

Tim

Yes, walking on land after spending too much time in the yak (weightless) can be difficult Lookin' at your photos I realise you adapted well to the terrestrial mobility
I like the last 2 shots the most!

OK J swing by Ohio and I will join the convoy northwesterly bound, yak attack!

You really had a nice outing and variety here. I am seeing very nice work on the details and great focus on the little ones. Kinda hard to shoot from solid ground isn't it Jason Take care, keep shooting all you can man

Did you have to take Dramamine? Did it take long to get your land legs back?
Nice terrestrial series
Thanks

Hey J.,

There's still a bunch of us old timers around here that still shoot from the banks on level stable ground - not even a new fad Some fine shots for a sea faring man

I, too, like the Red belly and the chicken shots the best in this set.

Jason,

Looks like you've cured your sea legs buddy.
Hey if you had an inflatable you could just throw it on the plane buddy
Bring it on and we'll go shoot something
Really enjoyed the colors / comp / environment of the yellow Rumped
All quite nice and a great variety buddy
Hang in there > Yak season is just around the corner
