I'm still working on techniques to incorporate the FM gray BG into photos. If this works okay then I'm going to try to add some other elements to the scene on my next attempt. I don't really like the crop on this but I wanted the bird to fill the page.

The Fadely Effect - all new for 2008 - makes your photos fade into the background. The Fadely Effect is all the rage on FM! Get yours today and be the 1st to impress your friends and your loved ones. Available here only on FM and not available in stores.

Interesting idea. I do think the crop is backwards but I think you are aware of that. Fun stuff.

Cool Chad, what a coincidence. Do you have any pics, or a link to what you did?

You are progressing nicely Mark, my only thought would be just a very thin border outline to separate the image from the print and buttons on the page??

Karl

Just stay on it and please show Chad how it is done

Nice to see a different view with that bgd, Mark. I bet it will work real well with high contrasty shots.

Thank you Herb, I think the BG will work great with some BW processing. Gotta try that.

Mark, this is a cool effect and I like it. It calls all of the attention to the subject without any distractions. Very nice.

Good to see you are having fun, Mark. The blank background is similar to the paintings that were done by Roger Tory Peterson.

Mark, interesting idea and implementation takes little time to get use to it but definitely grows on you.
