There is a local band that wants me to take some photos of them for use on their website, etc. They are a blues/60s rock type group. Is there any source of sample photos fro this type of thing?

I was thinking about having them walk single file across a street but I am afraid that idea won't be very appealing to many.

Beetles fan, right?

Try flicking through a few music magazines or pop down your local music store, you'll see thousands of shots that way.

I like rock and roll, like blus.
From the point of listening to music that people like blus should be rich in feeling, pay attention to mood and taste, and nostalgia. I would like to cover as such should reflect the aesthetic-oriented, people see that it was he wanted to listen to the music.

Are you going to be using strobes? They really make stuff look cooler band shot wise. But if there and older band I'm not sure what kind of style they would want. Look around on flickr though there is a group called band promos or somthing. THey have some good stuff and some not so good, so just look threw and you could get some ideas. CJ, I hadn't heard of Jeremy Cowart, but he has some great work! Thanks for the reference.

Jeremy has some great stuff but I am incapable of doing anything like that. This is a skill level that far far far exceeds mine.
