Just curious. Avedon is a huge influence of mine and am going to DC tomorrow to see his "Portraits of Power". What can I expect?

Here's a link to the exhibit site: http://www.corcoran.org/avedon/index.html

FWIW - It is a really lousy weekend to visit DC. The G20 Summit is this weekend and there will be street closings and resulting huge traffic snarls. Also the weather forecast is rain and thundershowers.

Wow, I was just in DC last weekend on a family trip! It would have been great to see this exhibit!
Have a great time.

The National Portrait Gallery on the Mall should also be on your short list if visiting DC...
