I shot this one this morning just before the Remembrance Day service. I am always impressed with the distinguished look of the men from the Legion and this guy is a typical example. I don't know if you saw it in the US but we had our only three surviving veterans from the first World War (aged 108,110 and 112) laying wreaths at the Cenotaph in London. Three fine men from a generation soon to be no more and strangely each represented a different service, army, air and navy. |
