The first one doesn't do it for me, just personal taste, but the second is wonderfully spooky. Nice work! |

I use photomatix just to tone map, the rest is all P.S work which IMO is the way to get good hdr images. |

Is it? I just want to improve? There are many people out there with far better images, and I'd like to be at that standard and if possible help someone else, now that alone is worth the point. |

cheryl thank you for your input my last comments to Jordon pointed out how i felt He/She was coming across there was nothing in the way of advice. I feel I was justified in my comments back. I have had no response to state I had taken this advice the wrong way. So i think it is best left as it was. Thanks for your comments Jon |

An image only tells a story if it "speaks" to the viewer, and every viewer is different, so it won't speak to everyone (whether the creator had a motive or not)... that's why art is subjective. |

The story would be different for each viewer.also why does there have to be a story? whats wrong with, just as you say "a pretty picture"? |

I like your technique... I like them both, but number 2 is by far the most dramatic. |
