It's been a while since I've posted anything here. I went to Iceland a few weeks ago and got some photography time in. Here are some impressions...

Beautiful images!

Images 3, 8, and 11 aren't displaying.

Thanks. I have no idea why this is. I've posted them elsewhere using the same IMG tags without problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just paste the url directly will center and display the image like:

"http://tetsuo.smugmug.com/photos/410119579_yLgvu-L.jpg" (without the quotes) will do this:

Also this site occasionally hates capitol letters in the tags. so I think lower case img instead of IMG may fix it

That took care of it. Updated the original post. Thanks.

Of the ones that are displaying, I especially like the long SS waterfall and the blue ice.

Again... awesome images!

BTW, how does your camera do in the cold like that? Any problems?

And the last one - that's worth a special mention. Really nice.

It was just above freezing and I had no problems. After all, the Canon 1-series are built to take it.

A superb collection - you must be very pleased. I really like the mono waterfall, but they are all excellent. Paul

Some really great shots! If you'd number them you'd get more specific feedback.

Edit: Sorry I didn't have time to count them out last night Now that you've got them numbered, I really like 2, 7, 9 and 15. I think they really show not only how beautiful, but also how harsh, the place is. Great set.

floris: It was in Jokulsarlon, where I went. It's about 4 hours out of Reykjavik.

Oh, and for the record: The last B&W one is a HDR image.

There are just too many to comment on, except that they are all magnificent. One favorite though, that wild and moody fjord in BW, last photo in the series.
