Looking to see what folks here can do with this monster!
I know the 200 f/1.8 is optically very similar, but that's for a different topic posting... so let's keep it to the 200 f/2 for now.
TIA!

I think people are finally understanding that posting little JPGs for this lens, or that lens, proves nothing. The pictures I take with my 200 1.8, are not significantly different from those taken by my 70-200 or my Sigma 70-200.

I've got one coming today from CPS to use at the NASCAR Series PIR (Phoenix) later this week and weekend.

I will post a few shots the first of next week. I used my 300 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 quite a bit at the NASCAR spring series at PIR so I'm curious to try the 200 with extenders and also for night race shots.

I'm not a poster but this is the sharpest best looking lens that I own edging out even the 300mm F2.8 IS. F2.0 and 5 stop IS make shots that no other lens can capture.

Well the 200 f2.0 showed up today from CPS. I hooked it up to my Mark III for a couple of test shots and all I can say is WOW !!! what a beautiful lens.

I'm really looking forward to shooting the races this weekend. Phoenix Int. Raceway is one of the shorter tracks in the NASCAR series so I find myself using my 70-200 f/2.8 or 300 f/2.8 most of the time so this should really work out well. I can't wait to see how it handles the 1.4 and 2.0 extenders on action shots.

If it does work out well I might have to add one to my kit in the future. It sure is a beauty.
