This is a Canon EOS 1Ds mark 2 camera for sale for $2995 with accessories and free shipping to the US from San Francisco Bay Area.

I am the original owner and took good care of it. It is in beautiful condition, with only small paint wear spots on the body. The pictures posted are of the actual camera I am selling, so you can readily evaluate the wear spots. The sensor has never been damaged and is in perfect condition. Everything works as it should. The camera has been upgraded to the latest firmware. This camera has about 50,000 shutter activations. I don't have software to display the exact number, but if one wishes, I can send one of the last raw files shot with the camera last December (since then the camera has been sitting as an unused back-up for my mk3).

The camera came back on Aug 11, 2008 from a Canon Professional Services (receipt available) tune-up so it is sure to perform flawlessly. Before putting up the camera for sale, I asked them to replace the top cover due to cosmetic wear, to inspect and adjust thoroughly the camera to make sure it was up to factory specifications, and to clean the mirror assembly and the sensor, which, as a result, are totally SPOTLESS. This is rare in a used camera, since even after 1,000 clicks some dust tends to enter.

The camera body comes with all originally included accessories, as follows: Body cap, NiMH Battery NP-E3, Battery Charger NC E-2, DC Coupler Kit DCK-E1, Canon Strap, USB Interface Cable, Firewire Interface Cable, Video Cable, EOS Digital Solutions Disk, Canon Digital Photo Professional Disk, Instruction Manual, Software Manual.

In addition to all of the above, I am including two useful accessories: an extra NP-E3 Battery (a $110 value) and the matching Really Right Stuff L-plate (a $180 value). If you do not know what a L-plate is, and why it is useful with a heavy camera such as the 1Ds mark II, check the following link: http://reallyrightstuff.com/QR/05.html

Shipping plus insurance to USA is FREE for ground delivery (Fedex or UPS). If you want it quicker or live overseas, let me know and I'll tell you the extra cost. I pack carefully and well, and ship very promptly after receiving payment. I wilI provide a tracking number and will let you know when your item has shipped. I accept credit cards, paypal, postal money order, bank check, wire transfer, for USA buyers. If you are a non-USA buyer, I may require payment by wire transfer prior to shipping the camera.

I am a photographer and have operated an online business from 2001, shipping over a thousand prints with 100% satisfaction. If you want to find out more about me, check my website at http://www.terragalleria.com. This is my first post here, because my friend Howard Slavitt suggested that I list the camera here. You may contact him if you need a reference.

Here are the images of the camera and accessories:

I am QT Luong's friend, Howard Slavitt, and go by httivals on this website and on ebay. You can check out my feedback. I've known Tuan for about 10 years. He's an honorable guy and a great photographer. This also looks to be an excellent deal. I didn't realize he was also including the "L" plate in the price.

No, I do not have the box. If I remember, I had to cut it for a mail-in rebate.

The images you have on your website are phenomenal!

Now if I could only get my images from my 1DS Mark II to look like yours......

Great camera at less than half the price of a used 1DS Mark III.....

In the while, I found out how to get the activation number. One of the last images I took in December had 53198, so my estimate was quite close.
