I have been actively searching for a Pentax 645 35mm FA (auto focus) lens. My purpose is to use it with a Zork Adaptor on my 5D for architecture and landscape and stitching panos. Do any of you have one in excellent or mint shape you would part with? Or any sources I have not discovered yet? Thanks in advance. |

Have you looked at alternatives like the Olympus 35mm shift or using a fixed lens + panohead and stitching software? |

I highly recommend the Mamiya 645 80mm f2.8 N, if your going to go down the M645 route...Small, light, very well made, good contrast and very sharp even when wide open...I've heard good things about the 55mm f2.8 N too but dont bother with the 45mm f2.8 N as its a soft lens. |

I have been using the Pentax 35mm (645) lens on a Zoerk Pan/Shift adapter. I compared a MF Mamiya lens to it on my 1DsII and there was no comparison outside of the center areas. The Pentax was sharp and the Mamiya was not. I have just moved to MF digital and went with the Mamiya system. I was not at all pleased to find out there was no such thing as a Pentax 645 lens to Mamiya body adapter. Most all the pan shots on my website were taken with this combo (and some other pentax lenses). I have sold several 90" prints from three shot stitches. |

Is there anyone who shoot with pentax 55mm and 75mm on canon like 5DII (with zork adapter) ? Which is the best solution for focal like 55 mm 80 mm and 150 mm with a zork adapter ? Pentax, Mamiya, Haselblad or another ? |
