I have this tropical plant (Eugenia uniflora or Surinam Cherry) in my living room (half of this room is covered by a glass roof btw) that I have been nursing for over 3 years by now and finally it has given me some flowers
It's a composite photo in order to have all 3 flowers in focus.

Ah, this is so nice. You must be proud. I was when my crassulas started to flower.

Thanks, I just love cultivating rare tropical plants and being able to get them to flower. This is how our patio looks like in summer : http://www.vanrafelghem.com/fotos/our%20house/crw_6641.htm and as you can see on this scan our house was actually build for it : http://www.vanrafelghem.com/fotos/our%20house/foto08.htm
Apart from that I also have a 45mē heated glasshouse for cacti & succulents.
Growing plants can be as addictive as photography
