PP - maybe that’s what Canon wants Nikon to be as they’re going to release something else before/@ Photokina? |

The 24mm looks interesting if good enough and the same price as the old one (or even a little less - do I dare to dream?). At 21MP, you could afford to use your camera as a 1.6x crop second camera, too, meaning you could treat the lens as a 24 and 35 in one. That, for me, is the key advantage of the extra resolution - turning primes into zooms (within reason). You just have to bear the resolution in mind... |

More or less as expected, keeping in line with the 5D I positioning: |

Disappointed overall ... No 5fps, no AF improvement, no weather sealing. Want to know how much IQ improvement it will have over 5D. It seems I will stick to my 5D for a while. |

I like the sRAW1/2 to get RAW files with less pixels and (hopefully) the same DR. |

I gotta say it sounds like an interesting camera. I also gotta say that it's a bit of a let down. That sensor better be very impressive for low light - low noise photography, because based on specs alone, the D700 is more impressive, other than lack of HD video recording, as a versatile photo capturing tool. The 5D sounds more demographically specialized. |

no 5fps... cause 4.9 is really going to hold you back? It has weather sealing and improved AF, AND its over 20mp and under 3K as everyone demanded... sheesh |

Canon has shown IQ is the only PRO feature they will give you. |

Only 3.9 fps. All the squirrels in my backyard will now be un-catchable. |

It's not a sports camera, nor a machine gun, so why does FPS matter? |
